Horticulture
WCROC Garden
The horticulture program at WCROC promotes research and learning about plants and flowers native to our region, and provides a productive and enjoyable bridge between our scientists and residents interested in local flora.

The horticulture program is home to the WCROC Horticultural Garden, located across State Highway 329 from the WCROC' s main administration building.  The Garden features smaller, themed gardens that explore and explain various dimensions of plant life, from prehistoric development to plant use in biotechnology.

The Garden attracts a large number of visitors, young and old, to the WCROC.  We recognize that partnership annually on Horticulture Night, a large celebration filled with games and food.
