Learn the importance of pulses (dried edible beans) in your daily diet, and why pulses are good for the soil. Discover the wide variety of pulses and how to grow dried peas, beans and lentils in your home garden.  

Presented by Sara Thronsedt, a gardener for over 45 years. In 2012, she became a U of MN Extension Master Gardener and currently serves on the WCROC Horticulture Advisory Committee. Her passions are educating gardeners and growing her own perennials and vegetables. She is most proud of her 1/2 acre restored native prairie.
