Give to the Max Day

Help us provide opportunities for students interested in agriculture in rural Minnesota on November 16!

The West Central Research and Outreach Center (WCROC) provides a unique platform where students, researchers and stakeholders cooperate together on projects that mimic real-world production systems.

Students interested in pursuing careers in agriculture greatly benefit from opportunities to learn proper animal handling skills, best practices that promote healthy plant growth, ways to reduce the carbon footprint of ag production systems and communicating with producers to better understand the inner-workings of today’s farming operations.

The Agricultural Experience Fund is named after one of the early pioneers at the WCROC, Harley E. Hanke, animal scientist from 1956-1986.  Harley believed in the value of student experiences and hands-on learning opportunities to advance agriculture in Minnesota. In his memory, a fund has been established to provide ongoing assistance for student internships and outreach activities at the WCROC.

You can help provide these valuable student experiences by giving to our campaign. Your generosity will directly impact a student pursing agriculture.

Every dollar raised gives students valuable learning experiences in agriculture!
