Number of years employed by the WCROC: 17
Prior to working at the WCROC: I graduated from North Dakota State University in 2005 with a degree in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering. I've been working at the WCROC ever since.
Significant work accomplishments:
- Being a part of the team that developed and installed the very first wind to ammonia plant, which we now call the Renewable Hydrogen and Ammonia Pilot Plant.
- Completing our ARPA-E grant project through the COVID pandemic.
Favorite part about working at the WCROC? Researching new ideas that people haven't done before to prove their viability or non-viability. And second, the people! You couldn't ask for a better group of people to work with. This includes all areas of the WCROC - from farm to horticulture to office staff to extension. Everyone is very helpful and good to work with.
What do you hope will be your legacy at the WCROC? That I was a knowledgeable employee who was easy to work with. Also, that I may have had a hand in making the world a better place.
How do you like to spend your time when not at work? During the winter, you can find me officiating on a basketball court, and in the summer I referee on the baseball fields. I enjoy spending time at our camper, and hunting in the fall. I am also a fireman with the Morris Fire Department.
